World Scout Jamboree 2019

World Scout Jamboree is the pinnacle event of a youth’s Scouting journey!  Once every four years the Scouting youth of the world come together and celebrate what it means to be a Scout! This once-in-a-lifetime experience brings the entire world to your fingertips, where all Scouts can freely and enthusiastically share their cultures with one another in the spirit of the Scout Law. Each and every Scout has but one opportunity to attend a World Jamboree as a Participant.

More than 50,000 Scouting participants from over 150 countries will gather together for WSJ 2019 to be held from July 22 to August 2, 2019 at the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve, West Virginia, USA – and 6th Dundas plans to be part of it!

Scouts and Scouters from 6th Dundas have formed a team to build our first ever contingent to a World Scout Jamboree.  Check into this page over the next year to learn about our trip and some of our upcoming fundraising events!  For more information contact Scouter Kyle Moxam at kyle@moxam.ca.
